Terms
These terms apply when you use Umanuto, run by [controller]. Using the site means you accept them.
What it does
We search job boards for roles that match your background and estimate how well you fit each one. Finding and scoring roles is free.
Fit scores are estimates
A fit percentage is our best guess from your profile and the job ad. It isn’t a promise of an interview or a job, and it can be wrong. Job ads come from employers’ own boards and can change or close without notice.
Your account
You can save your matches with your email address. We sign you in by emailing a one-time code, so keep access to that inbox to yourself. Deleting your data deletes your account and anything unused on it, and we warn you first.
Tailored CVs and passes
- A new account gets its first 3 tailored CVs free, once per person.
- A pass lets you make tailored CVs for 30 or 90 days from the moment you buy it, up to 60 for every 30 days. It’s one payment and never renews.
- Until 30 November 2026 passes are sold at an early-user price: £9 for 30 days and £19 for 90 days. After that they cost £15 and £35.
- A tailored CV is only counted when it’s made successfully. If making one fails, it isn’t counted.
- Free CVs and CVs bought before passes don’t expire. Tailored CVs from a gift link expire 14 days after you use the link.
- A tailored CV is a draft built from what you told us. It’s checked so it doesn’t add experience you don’t have, but you’re responsible for reading it and making sure it’s true before you send it.
Payments and refunds
Passes are sold by Stripe as merchant of record. Stripe takes the payment, sends the receipt and handles VAT, refunds and disputes. [cancellation wording that matches what Checkout shows] If something’s gone wrong, email support@umanuto.com and we’ll put it right. A refunded pass ends straight away.
Fair use
Please don’t scrape the site, overload it, share a pass, or try to get into other people’s accounts. We may limit or remove access that’s being misused.
Our responsibility
We work to keep the site running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing here limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.
